Creating - Exploring - Designing - Living - Growing

STATEMENT:

I love making cool stuff. Transforming great ideas into reality to share is my joy.

 

I am driven to grow my range, acquire knowledge and techniques, explore new materials, new tools, and new methods. The more I know, the more I make. The more I make, the more I know.

 

There's no greater satisfaction than witnessing delight and amazement in a person's eyes, knowing that my work caused it. Sharing that joy and excitement is my purpose.

 

I design virtually, sketching and 3D-modeling my concepts, then driving digital fabrication equipment like 3D printers and laser cutters to make the parts. Putting them all together is the next stage. When the assembly process is all figured out, I produce more instances.

My aesthetic explores juxtaposition of familiar organic shapes depicted with mechanical frame structure, as a commentary on the increasingly eroding line between the natural and artificial, and the industrialization of human and animal life.
